February 15-16

Following the tradition of including students’ families in the experience at Geneva, the college will once again host its annual Family Weekend, this year scheduled to take place on February 15 and 16.

Returning to the weekend’s festivities this year will be a showcase of the college’s talent at its talent show taking place both nights at 7:30 p.m. in the John H. White Chapel. Performed by faculty and students, this unique event is a fundraiser for the Geneva Women, an alumni group that supports student organizations.

Immediately following the talent show on Friday night, students, their families and talent show participants are invited to an ice cream social in the Brigadoon located on the lower level of the student center. There is no charge for the social, but reservations are required.

The talent show is open to the public, however tickets are required. Tickets in advance cost $6 for adults and $3 for students. Tickets bought at the door are $7 for adults and $4 for students. For more information or to purchase tickets, contact the Institutional Advancement office at 724-847-6514 or e-mail events@geneva.edu.
