Founders Day 2012

Geneva College will host the annual Founders Day celebration on Saturday, April 14, 2012. In addition to events for the entire Geneva community, Geneva will be honoring the classes of 1952, 1962 and 1972 for milestone reunions. Also, special reunions are being held for Geneva theatre and publications alumni.

“Founders Day is another excellent opportunity for our alumni and friends to reconnect with Geneva and each other,” explains Director of Alumni Relations Tom Stein. “We invite all alumni to register and join us.”

Events include a student, alumni and community 5K race; a production of one act plays by the Geneva Theatre Department; a Jazz Band Concert, “In the Mood”; a 50-year reunion luncheon for the Class of 1962; and campus tours.

“In addition, the Alumni Dinner will be highlighted by the awarding of the Life “G” to Dr. Roy Blackwood ’48, who has served admirably at Geneva and around the world,” says Stein.
