Genevans banquet

BEAVER FALLS, Pa.— The Genevans, Geneva’ student choir, will host its annual banquet in Alexander Dining Hall Saturday, Nov. 5. Hors D’oeuvres will be served at 6 p.m., and the dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m.

The theme of the banquet is a “Musical River Cruise.” Students will perform jazz music during the hors d’oeuvres, and the choir will sing several river-themed Broadway and jazz pieces following the meal.

The proceeds will help the Genevans to fund its annual spring tour. This year, part of the money will also support the choir’s tour to Ireland, Scotland, and England in May 2006.

The Genevans banquet is open to the public. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for children under 12, and $8 for college students. A reservation is required by November 1.

For more information, call the music department at 724-847-6660.
