Geneva Gospel Choir Concert

Geneva Gospel ChoirGeneva College’s Gospel Choir will host its first concert, “A Praise Experience,” in the John White Chapel on Friday, March 23. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert will begin at 6:45 p.m.

The ensemble will open its performance with Psalm 63 and continue with several songs including “God is Great,” “How Great is Our God,” “All in All,” “All Hail King Jesus” and “Lord I’m Amazed.” Scripture will also be shared throughout the concert.

Freshman Music Education major Michael Warren started the Gospel Choir, involving members from a variety of majors and classes. The choir meets every Friday in Alumni Hall for rehearsal and has been asked to perform at local churches and in chapel, Geneva’s weekly devotional time.

“The choir is excited about this event and is looking forward to its continued involvement at Geneva,” says Warren.

The Multicultural Student Services Office is sponsoring this event. The concert is free and open to the public.
