Geneva celebrates homecoming by following the yellow brick road

Homecoming 2008 - Follow the yellow brick road

BEAVER FALLS, Pa. —Geneva College is kicking off this year’s Homecoming with style by incorporating the Wonderful World of Oz into every corner of its campus. Students, alumni, faculty, staff and members of the community are invited to join in the fun and march along the yellow brick road at Geneva on Saturday, October 4. There will literally be a yellow brick road stretching from in front of McKee Hall all the way to the Student Center.

The day’s festivities will include more than 50 craft, food and game booths that will line Geneva’s campus from 10 – 4p.m. Other activities will include the thrilling zip line, sidewalk parade, carnival games and live music featuring Stephanie Fraschetti, the Trinity Jazztet and several student/alumni bands.

For kids of all ages there will be face painting, pony rides, games, a rock climbing wall and other fun activities.
