In The Mood XI - Big Band Music Returns

BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – Geneva College Jazz Band will present its annual concert of big band music from the 1930's and 40's entitled, “In The Mood XI - Big Band Music Returns," Saturday, April 8 at 8 p.m. in the John H. White Chapel, Old Main at Geneva.

     Music will feature selections including American Patrol, Boom Shot, It’s Only a Paper Moon, Red Bank Boogie and other big band numbers. Donald Kephart, chairperson of the music department at Geneva, will direct the band.

     During the past four years, the band’s performances were sold out. The community is encouraged to purchase tickets in advance. Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for students. Purchase tickets by calling Ruth Vos at 724-847-6660.
