A taste of culture: International Week coming right up

group.jpg

Come celebrate international week, sponsored by Geneva’s International Student Organization.

A movie night, along with the always-popular intercultural dinner, will mark this year’s International Week.

At 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, the International Student Organization (ISO) will show a movie – Blood Diamonds –in Skye Lounge in the Student Center. Admission – and popcorn – is free at the event, which is hosted in collaboration with the college’s Culture.ish initiative and the International Justice Mission club.

Join the Geneva community Friday, March 30, at 4:45 p.m. as the ISO hosts an intercultural dinner in Alexander Dinning Hall. For more than a decade, ISO has put together a wonderful evening of traditional dances, fun tidbits of world culture and eating ethnic dishes from all over the world.

The dinner is open to the public – $12.00 for adults, $5.00 for children, and a meal swipe for Geneva College students.
