Geneva/WORD-FM Kennywood Day set

Geneva College Day at Kennywood set for August 14, 2009.

Geneva College invites the campus community, faculty and staff, students and alumni to participate in its annual Geneva/WORD-FM Family Kennywood Day on Friday, August 14. For the reduced price of $22 per ticket, compared the regular price of $33.99, Geneva College families can enjoy the amusement park all day. Church, youth, and neighborhood groups are also welcome to join the festivities.

Kennywood will open at 10:30 a.m. and close at 10 p.m. Available activities include the park’s rides and games, as well as a WORD-FM-hosted prize wheel. Geneva College’s mascot, Turbo the Golden Tornado, will attend and be available for pictures. 

Besides a discount on Ride-All-Day passes, Geneva College is reserving pavilion #7. Those attending the Geneva /WORD-FM Kennywood day are encouraged to bring food and take part in a common dinner from 4:30 – 6 p.m. The Geneva College community is also invited to use the pavilion for lunch.

Tickets are on sale until August 12 and will be mailed to the purchaser. After August 5, reserved tickets may be picked up at the Geneva College will-call window at Kennywood Park the day of the event.
