Geneva College faculty and staff are gearing up for the start of the fall semester. Don't miss these important check-in and orientation details for new and returning students.
New Freshmen and New Transfers
For incoming freshmen and transfer students
Geneva College's student development staff has planned an exciting week of meetings and activities that enable new students to meet one another, begin work on the Learning and Transition course, and help the transition to academic life at Geneva College.
Daytime events are mandatory, and students are strongly encouraged to attend all evening activities as well. Students with job commitments should request this week off work.

Tuesday, August 25

8 a.m. - 1 p.m.  Skye Lounge Registration/move in
Complete campus check- in prior to moving into residence hall. Registration will close at 1 p.m
11 a.m. S&E 341

Math challenge exam
Only for those students challenging their placement as determined by SAT/ACT scores.  Payment will be taken at the door. 

12 p.m. - 1 p.m. Alexander Dining Hall

Lunch
Parents welcome at cost of $5 per person

12 p.m. - 1 p.m. John White Chapel

Spanish assessment test
Only for those students wishing to take Spanish

1 p.m. - 3 p.m. Various Halls

Settle in to rooms

Bible assessment (make-up)
Required of all new students who did not take assessment during Summer Preview 

2 p.m. - 3 p.m. John White Chapel Reading challenge exam
