Geneva mourns the loss of Dr. William Russell (1923-2009)

Dr. William RussellDr. William Russell, former professor and academic dean at Geneva College, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2009. He was a devoted husband, father, teacher and friend. Dr. Russell was an active member of College Hill Reformed Presbyterian church in Beaver Falls, and served as an elder for many years. He is survived by his wife, Martha, and his children, Mary Louise and Dale.

Friends will be received on Saturday, May 9, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hill and Kunselman Funeral Home, 3801 Fourth Avenue, Beaver Falls. The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 11, at 10 a.m. at the College Hill Reformed Presbyterian Church in Beaver Falls. There will be a private interment following the service.
