Student Activities has announced its calendar of events for the fall semester. The events will run from September to early December, consisting of a variety of activities such as movies on Memorial Lawn, dodgeball tournaments and the annual Film Festival.

Beginning soon, Homecoming Week Happenings will take place from September 26-30, and include the zipline, Open-Mic Night, the Dodgeball Tourney and a movie night.

Send Off is another notable event, happening on Friday, October 14. Student Activities will provide a list of items for students to pack. Students will compete in an all-campus rock-paper-scissors competition, and the winner will choose a friend and be sent on a surprise weekend trip—all expenses paid by Student Activities.

Film Fest, one of the most popular events on campus, concludes the fall events calendar on Saturday, December 10. Students will dress in formal attire to gather in the Metheny Fieldhouse and watch student-produced films.

“We have something planned for everybody,” says Director of Student Activities Ryan Holt. “I would encourage students to not sit on the sideline, but to jump in and join the action."
