Open house

Geneva College enrollment efforts are continuing to thrive. The college attracted nearly 200 high school students to campus in November through two open houses. About 50 prospective students attended Geneva’s first open house exclusively for those interested in majoring in math, science, and engineering, held October 21.

Admissions counselors expected that holding that event would mean fewer high school students would attend the college’s traditional open house weekend, held November 11-12. But the interest exceeded their expectations, and about 150 students and their parents attended to get a glimpse into life at Geneva. Students heard lectures from faculty members, talked to student life representatives, and spent the night in Geneva’s residence halls.
