New leadership for PhonathonGeneva College hired Annie Clanton to coordinate the college’s Phonathon fundraising effort. The Phonathon consists of 15 students who call alumni in the evening to update alumni contact information, take prayer requests, share campus news, and ask if the alumni would like to continue to support the college with a gift. Clanton supervises the student workers who make calls for the Phonathon and helps match student callers to alumni, based on similar majors or participation in clubs. Last year the Phonathon’s goal was to raise $100,000, and the callers raised $120,000. This year the college increased the goal to $110,000. Clanton also works as a substitute teacher at Aliquippa High School. She resides in Beaver Falls. |
