Beaver Falls, PA - After a long time away from home and a weekend off for the men’s basketball team, Geneva College is welcoming its fans back for the stretch run with a community night on February 5. Admission will be free and, courtesy of Pizza Joe’s, pizzas will be given out through the evening.
The Golden Tornadoes will welcome Thomas More that evening with the women playing at 5:30 and the men at 7:30. In the 5:30 game, fans will get to see a team ranked fifth in the most recent poll and are led by Sydney Moss, the daughter of former NFL star Randy Moss, who is among the national scoring leaders, averaging 26.1 points per game.
Geneva College invites students to accept the challenge of an academically excellent, Christ-centered education. Offering nearly 40 undergraduate majors, Adult Degree Programs with fully online and campus-based options, and seven graduate degrees, Geneva has programs that place students at the forefront of higher learning. Adhering to the inerrancy of Scripture, a Geneva education is grounded in God’s word as well as in a core curriculum designed to prepare students vocationally to think, write and communicate well in today’s world.
Geneva's Communication Disorders students have attended graduate programs all over the U.S., at schools such as the University of Iowa, California State University - Fullerton, Gallaudet University and University of Pittsburgh.
