Beaver Falls, PA – The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) has selected Montias Jackson as the football student-athlete of the week. In pursuit of competing with the values of Geneva College and those upheld by the NCCAA, Jackson has become an impact player for the Golden Tornadoes.
The senior defensive lineman has compiled 8.5 TFL (60 yards), 7.0 sacks (53 yards) for the season. All four of his solo tackles against St. Vincent resulted in tackles for loss (33 yards), three of four resulted in sacks (27 yards). Jackson's big plays contributed to a bounce back 40-30 victory over Saint Vincent College that improved Geneva’s overall record to 4-2 including a 3-1 mark in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference.
