Beaver Falls, PA – The Golden Tornadoes introduce Junior Varsity (JV) games for the 2013 season for selected sports. Interim Athletic Director, Van Zanic explains the addition, “Our athletic department has never been healthier in terms of the number of student-athletes that we currently have participating in our 15 intercollegiate sports. One of the many benefits that those numbers provide is the ability to begin junior varsity programs in several of our sports. Specifically, our football program is playing a six-game junior varsity schedule this fall as a direct result of the outstanding recruiting efforts put forth by our coaching staff. Junior varsity games are also being played in men’s soccer and baseball during this school year. We are very excited about the addition of these games to give many of our student-athletes the ability to have more in-game experience while also affording our coaches more opportunities to evaluate during game action.”
All JV games and results are available on the specific sports web page along with the ‘by sport’ and composite sport schedule pages.
