Miami, FL – Geneva Men’s Basketball traveled south before the new year to compete in the Adidas DIII Holiday Slam. The Miami weather wasn’t the only source of heat as the Tornadoes fell in a 90-80 final decision in game one to the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth campus. The loss tilts the GT’s overall record to a sour 4-6, remaining 0-2 in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference.
Geneva’s offensive was spread out by three Golden Tornadoes reaching the double digits; Chaese Vaudrin (20), Tyler Damazo (12), Jordan Harbison (11) but could not keep pace with the five double digit Dartmouth Corsair scorers.
Geneva will return to the court tomorrow for a New Year’s Eve tip-off at 6 p.m. against the Hood College Blazers.
