Miami, FL–Geneva found itself in a familiar spot- the short end of a close game after facing Hood College in the Adidas DIII Holiday Slam in Miami, Florida. The 78-76 loss lowers Geneva’s overall record to 4-7, 0-2 in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference.
Head coach Jeff Santarsiero says, “The coaching staff and I are very proud of our effort tonight. We lost to a very good team who in the end hit the shot to win it. I have no doubt the 2014 end of the season we will find our stride again.”
Geneva will be on the road for the next three games starting on Saturday at Waynesburg for an 8 p.m. tip-off.
