Beaver Falls, PA – The Geneva Men's Soccer team traveled to Middleburg, Pennsylvania on Saturday August 24th to scrimmage King's College. However, before the big game, the squad ran a soccer camp for local kids in the neighborhood. An impressive 60 children from ages 5-14 years old participated in the clinic run entirely by the players. The two hour clinic involved skills training, tactical teaching and small-sided games. At the end of the clinic, the participants were split into small groups and led by the Geneva players through a devotional. Assistant coach Caleb Musselman remarked, "It is easy to get caught up in the rush of competition. This event was a breath of fresh air for us as a team. It was great seeing our guys teach the game, but most of all, share the Gospel with the children."
