Wooster, OH – Geneva College’s offensive struggles continued Tuesday afternoon at Wooster. The 3-0 loss dropped Geneva’s record to 3-6.
Caroline Wright and Rhetta King were the only Golden Tornadoes to take a total of three shots against the Wooster Scots. Geneva was outshot by Wooster 26-3 at the end of the 90 minutes. Geneva goal keeper Kayla Gaines saved six Scot shots that made it on frame. Only allowing one to get past her in the first half, Gaines allowed a pair of goals in the final 13 minutes.
Geneva will start conference play at home against Thiel on Saturday at 5 p.m.
