Beaver Falls, PA – On Tuesday, the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), the world’s largest soccer coaches’ organization with members at every level of soccer, selected Geneva’s Heidi Mann as their Division III Women’s Soccer Player of the Week.
The sophomore, midfielder from Colorado Springs, Colorado was unable to play in Wednesday’s game at Wooster. Mann returned to the field on Saturday, where she ended the scoring struggle by completing a pass from teammate Caroline Write into the back of the net. She would go on to collect two additional tallies to complete the hat trick for her first three goals of the 2013 season. Today’s award adds to the weeks’ list for Mann as the Geneva female student-athlete of the week and the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Women’s Offensive Player of the Week.
