Tom Pyle called the meeting to order at 9:30 p.m., and he opened in prayer. 

1) Katherine Bull moved to pass the minutes of March 18. Ashley Luciano seconded the motion. Motion passed 9-0-2. 

2) Dorm Updates:

a. Pearce — John Bennett: Auditions for the Guitar Hero tournament will either be Thursday, April 3 or Friday, April 4. The Pearce vs. Memorial football game was last Saturday, and Pearce won 18-8. There are now established TV rules for the lounge. The theme for the building team for the rest of the semester is “finish strong”, and many members seem to be encouraged by that. There was a dorm broomball tournament held at “Blade Runners Iceoplex”. A total of $700 was fundraised through the $5 sale, with which the dorm is sponsoring a child from Africa, paying for a slave raid, and serving breakfast pancakes in Beaver Falls on a Saturday morning. 

b. Memorial — Garett Marvich: Recently held the annual “Memorial Madness”, an in-hall competition between the dorm, and closed with the football game against Pearce. Also, recently had a dodgeball tournament. Travis York talked to Residence Life about the flooring, and they were able to allocate enough money to pay for all of the flooring. 

c. Clarke — Meg Diemer: The dorm recently held a “Girl Talk” last Monday night, and the girls were involved in deep discussion and fellowship. Also, there was a bingo night with the elderly. The “Beauty and the Beast” event is coming up for Pearce and Clarke. Meg is planning a picnic. No residents have signed up to compete in the Guitar Hero tournament. The dorm is in need of new shower curtains. 

d. McKee — Ashley Luciano: There was a building team meeting last Wednesday. The DC for the building reported that there is a great turn-out for the bible studies. The MCA is setting up an event with the RAs for a social justice night. Even after an attempt, no residents have signed up to participate in the Guitar Hero tournament. The RA’s are planning a lot of spring event themed events. 

e. Young North — Josh Gmys: There was a broomball tournament against Pearce at “Blade Runners Iceoplex”. There has been some residents interested in the Guitar Hero tournament, and Josh has held the in-dorm competition and has the top two scorers. 

f. Young East — Bonnie Rapp: The apartment was supposed to have a building team meeting, but it was cancelled. She is currently planning the “Film Fest After Party”. She has been attempting to generate interest in the building about the Guitar Hero tournament, but only has two people signed up. 

g. Arms Men — Conlan Walsh: There was a building team meeting last Wednesday, in which they discussed the past year and set goals for next year. There are 13 guys competing in the dorm Guitar Hero tournament. There is a Broomball tournament on April 11. 

h. Arms Women — Lindsay Moore: There was a building team meeting last Wednesday, and members debriefed the positive and negative aspects of the year and having one staff with Arms Men. There has been no interest in the Guitar Hero Tournament because of the difficult level. The apartment is participating in the upcoming 30-hour-famine. 

i. Houses — Nate Davies: Absent

j. Commuters — Katherine Bull: There has been one sign-up for the upcoming Guitar Hero tournament.  She brought a proposal to build commuter community. 

3) Proposals:

a. “Young East Film Fest After Party” Bonnie Rapp - This is a continuation of a previously presented proposal. She presented a list of expected costs for the event, and commented that the food will be from Chick-Fil-A. Bonnie Rapp moved to allocate $400 to the Young East After Party, with any and all unused funds to be returned to the GCSU. Ashley Luciano seconded the motion. Conlan Walsh asked about the estimate for the number of people; Bonnie said that it is open to the whole campus and it will possibly be outside. Garrett Marvich asked about advertising; Bonnie Rapp said that Sarah Dompier is in charge of advertising. Motion passed 11-0-1. 

b. “Commuter Community” Katherine Bull - She wants to provide free donuts and coffee for the commuters in the lounge in order to develop a community among them. Katherine Bull moved to allocate $30 to purchase donuts and coffee for the commuters. Conlan Walsh seconded the motion. Josh Gmys asked how she is going to control having non-commuters eating the donuts; Katherine said that she is just going to trust that people will be honest. Motion passed 11-0-1. 

4) New Business:

a. There are currently 7 RC members hired for next year, but representatives are still needed for houses and commuters. 

b. Tom reminded the members to keep going strong and take the job seriously. Tom said that there are some grounds for impeachment among members. 

5) Senate Update: The freshman class was looking into setting up a bonfire near Pearce, but found it that was against the law. There were 34 people that attended their ice skating event. The sophomores are working on a catered “Mexican Masquerade” for April 26, and are bringing a proposal soon. The juniors are talking about possibilities for next year. The seniors are working on “Senior Week”, and are considering new options such as paintball. 

6) Activities Update: Brandon Baughman gave the update. Auditions for “MGN” are tomorrow, and there are 30 groups auditioning. On Friday Student Activities will be reviewing “Film Fest” videos, for the event on the 25. The Guitar Hero Tournament Half.Past.Nine is March 26; all dorms are participating except Arms Women, Clarke, and McKee. 

John Bennett moved to end the meeting. Garett Marvich seconded the motion. Meeting ended at 10:07 p.m.
