Field Trips

Semester in Rome field trips

Rome (and Italy) is our classroom! Most weeks, students spend a significant amount of time exploring ancient sites, museums, and churches. The Semester in Rome fees include all class-related field trips within Rome, a daytrip to Pompeii, and overnight, multi-day field trips to Florence and Venice.

Papal Audience, St. Peter’s Square
Borghese Gallery
Catacombs of Priscilla
Capitoline Museum
Pantheon
Trevi Fountain
National Gallery of Modern & Contemporary Art
Rome’s many churches

In Florence and Venice, students visit both cities’ major museums and churches, including the Uffizi Gallery, the Accademia, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, St. Mark’s Basilica, the Florence Baptistery, and many others.
