Geneva College Honors Program and Scholarship Competition

Professional business dress is required.
Register by January 14, 2012 (late registrations will not be accepted)
Through the Geneva College Honors Program & Scholarship Competition, students who performed at superior academic levels in high school will compete for scholarships and membership in Geneva’s First Year Honors Program. Students who uphold the highest standards of education are selected for membership in the First Year Honors Program and will receive one of the following scholarships:

| (Students selected to receive a Presidential scholarship will also receive membership into Geneva’s First Year Honors Program and the $2,000 honorarium.) | |

| *The Honors Scholarship ($4,000) consists of two parts:
1. A $2,000, First-Year scholarship may be added to other academic scholarships provided by Geneva College in the student’s first year and is applied toward the cost of tuition; | |

Qualifications for Invitation
- Geneva invites all recipients of the Pro Christo academic scholarship who are admitted by January 7, 2012 to participate in the competition.
- Invitations will be sent to qualified students beginning December 15, 2011.
Competition guidelines
- Participating students must be accepted to Geneva College no later than January 7, 2012.
- R.S.V.P. no later than January 14, 2012.
- Students must personally attend the scholarship competition.
- Students must review and agree to participate as described in the Participation Policy.
- Scholarship recipients will be notified no later than March 1, 2012.
Please note our Participation Policy that is in place for all students who choose to participate in the Geneva College Honors Program and Scholarship Competition: All students who are eligible and wish to be considered for the Honors Program and scholarship associated with the competition are required to attend this event in person and participate in all scheduled activities. Students will be escorted to the competition location and the writing process will begin promptly at 9 a.m. Under no circumstance will there be late admittance. Any student who is late for the competition or does not participate in all scheduled activities will not be considered for the Honors Program or scholarships associated with the competition. This event will not be rescheduled due to weather conditions. Please plan your travel accordingly.
