Student Senate

The Senate are the hands and feet of the GCSU. They take action to meet your needs as students, by gathering information, debating issues, voting on proposals, working with the faculty and administration, and more. You are being represented in the decisions made and money spent, so make sure you let them hear you!

I also cant believe its finally senior year...tear* but I am looking forward to a great senior year!!
	Name: Ashley Grueso Office: Senior Class Secretary Year: Class of 2009 Major: Elementary and Special Education Residence: Off Campus About Me: Hi everyone!  I am a Senior elementary and special education major, and I have very much enjoyed my past three years at Geneva! I am very passionate about teaching and working with under-privileged children. I have lived in Pittsburgh, PA my entire life. I love spending time with family and friends, reading, jet skiing, and scrap booking. I'm very excited to be a part of the GCSU again this year and am ready to see how God uses our entire team to change Geneva! I'm a pretty open person so if you want to know anything, just ask!
	Name: Ashley Luciano Office: Senior Class Treasurer Year: Class of 2009 Major: Elementary Education Residence: Off Campus About Me: I'm very out-going and enjoy getting to know new people, so feel free to say hi if you see me around campus. I like hanging out with my friends, taking pictures, attempting to be athletic, working with kids, and making people laugh. I am excited to be a part of the GCSU again this year, and seeing the blessings that God has in store for Geneva in the coming year.
	Name: Douglas Miller Office: Junior Class President Year: Class of 2010 Major: Student Ministry Residence: Geneva Arms 401 About Me: I am 20 years old, an uncle, son of God, boyfriend and I am the youngest in my family. I hope to do my best in serving the Geneva Community well and to bring glory to Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior for giving me such amazing gifts to help betterment and serve others.
	Name: Rachel A. Long Office: Junior Class Secretary Year: Class of 2010 Major: Communications Residence: Chambersburg, PA About Me: favorite color is orange, favorite dessert is ice cream, favorite TV show is The Office, next thing on my list to accomplish is wakeboarding, and one place I want to visit before I die is France.
	Name: Mariel Friedberg Office: Junior Class Treasurer Year: Class of 2010 Major: Communication disorders Residence: Schoolhouse About Me: I spent the summer working at a deaf village in Jamaica.  I like to do anything outside. I especially like it when people make me laugh. I can't wait to find out what God has in store for my life.
	Name: Ted Northrop Office: Sophomore Class President Year: Class of 2011 Major: Pre-Seminary and Music Residence: About Me: My favorite Skittles flavor is Grape, with Apple in a close second. Jasmine is my favorite Disney princess, and my favorite color is blue, and maybe black, in a totally non-gothic way. It is my desire to lead people in worship of their Creator across the country, whether that's as a worship pastor at a church or on tour (if I'm good enough, which I'm probably not). I love watching the Steelers and the North Carolina Tar Heels dominate, which they both usually do, and a nice game of pick-up Frisbee is pretty much heaven on earth.

In my spare time you could probably catch me hanging out with my friends! I love chicken snack wraps form McDonald’s, Diet Coke gets me through life, and I'm obsessed with Mike n' Ikes! I'm a Cheerleader for our Geneva, I work for Tiger Pause and I love kids and can't wait to be a teacher!
