Merriman Soccer Complex & Reeves Field

Soccer Field in the lights

Geneva College has one of the finest soccer stadiums in the East. A new soccer complex which is surrounded by an eight-lane track and lights was opened for soccer play in the fall of 1996 with the track completed in the spring of 1998. The facility was built under the supervision of former athletic director Geno Demarco.

The soccer field is a 117 x 70 yard natural turf playing surface which includes an irrigation system.

It features…

  • Ample seating for 2,000 fans
  • Electronic scoreboard
  • A fully-enclosed press box with wireless internet
  • Lights
  • Eight lane running track

Reeves Field with new soccer lines sewn in.

Reeves Field received the final touches to its new turf field this summer. New soccer lines were sewn into the turf so both the men's and women's soccer programs will have the opportunity to play some of their games in the stadium during the 2009 season. The new Pro-Grass surface was installed prior to the fall of 2007 with the rest of the "Beyond the Bend" facelift taking place last summer including new entraceways, a new press box, concession stands and restrooms.
