Eligibility

Geneva College Intramural Sports assumes no responsibility for accidents or injuries, as all participants enter the activity voluntarily. It is recommended that each participant have a medical examination and health insurance coverage prior to participation.

Eligibility:

1. All students currently enrolled and attending Geneva College are eligible to participate in intramural sports.
2. All current members of the Geneva College faculty, staff and any board members are invited to participate.
3. No members of the community or alumni can participate.
4. All spouses of students and college employees are eligible to play.
5. The eligibility of a student who has participated in a college sport shall be determined under the following rules:
• If a player is an active player on the Varsity or J.V. team.
• If a player is a red shirt.
• If the player practices with a varsity sport.
• If the player is injured during the regular season and does not participate or practice.
6. No more than three varsity athletes are permitted on one team.
7. If a varsity player is in season, he or she must obtain permission from their coach.
