A. Conduct of Student, Players and Coaches
The officials' rulings are final.
All rules and regulations outlined in the Geneva College handbook are also in effect.
The official in charge shall be responsible for enforcing the ejection penalty.
If a player is ejected fro your team, the team will not be allowed to substitute a player in for the ejected player.
Any student, player or coach displaying unsportsmanlike conduct to an opposing player, coach or official in an intramural contest will be asked to leave the premises on which the contest is being held.
If a player is ejected from a game he/she will be required to:
- Sit out the next scheduled game involving his/her team.
- Work for one hour in the intramural office. This hour must be completed within one week of the ejection or the player will receive a $50.00 fine billed to their account by the student development office.
If the same player is ejected a second time for any sport, the player will be required to:
- Sit out the rest of the season.
- Work for ten hours in the intramural office.
***In addition, if a player is ejected three times during the sporting season, that player will not be allowed to play any intramurals for the remaining academic year.
***The intramural department reserves the right to suspend a player for one full year from the date of the incident in cases of repeated ejection's or excessive abusive behavior.
