Meet the Coach

Mandee CraftMandee Craft begins her 14th season as Geneva’s head women’s tennis coach in 2014. Craft has quietly guided a Golden Tornadoes team for the fourth longest tenure of any coach on Geneva’s staff and the second longest women’s tennis tenure in school history. Craft has seen her program transition into NCAA Division III and into the fall season in the past six years.

A certified coach through the United States Professional Tennis Registry (USPTA), Craft has compiled an overall record of 80-80 during her coaching tenure at Geneva. In the first year as a full member of the PAC, Geneva’s tennis team tied for fifth place in the conference under Craft’s Direction.

Before joining the coaching staff at Geneva, Craft enjoyed a great career on the court for the Golden Tornadoes. She joined the tennis team in 1997 and excelled in both singles and doubles earning number All-Conference awards. It was during her freshman season that she helped lead the Golden Tornadoes to their most recent trip to a national tournament.

Upon her graduation in 2001 with a degree in Psychology, she accepted the head coaching position passed on by her former coach Janet DiTullio.

It was not until her fourth year coaching (2005) that the Golden Tornadoes returned to post-season play for the first time since the 1997-98 school year.

Craft also serves as the East Region Women’s Tennis Chair for the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA), of which Geneva is a member.
