What is RSS?

What is RSS (Really Simple Syndication)? RSS is a type of Web feed, a quick way to get frequently updated information on the Internet (such as blog entries, podcasts and news headlines). RSS content can be read using aggregators, which collect the feeds so you can access them all in one place.

Tech jargon aside, this means that you can access your favorite frequently-updated material on the Internet from one place. This includes all news on the Geneva College site, from front page articles to men’s and women’s sports.

Google and Yahoo! have their own readers, but there are also plenty of other independent, free aggregators. You can add Geneva’s news feed by clicking on one of the buttons, or you can manually do it yourself if you're familiar with the RSS process. For access to the basic Geneva news feed, click here; for the men’s athletics news feed, click here; for the women’s athletics news feed, click here.
