Geneva College will welcome new freshmen and transfer students to campus on Thursday, January 10, 2013. New students will transition into Geneva College student life during a three–day orientation. Director of the Office for Student Programs and Leadership, Ryan Holt says, “Winter Orientation provides us with the opportunity to demonstrate the strong commitment and community found at Geneva College.”
The orientation includes activities provided by the Pisgah program designed specifically to help build character and teamwork, promote unity, and develop leadership through the use of adventure and experiential–based education. In addition, students will take a tour of the campus with the orientation staff. To familiarize new students with the services afforded by student development, they will be introduced to various offices on campus including Health Services, Career Development, Multiethnic Student Services and more.
