Academic Coaching

Individual academic coaching that is specifically targeted towards students with disabilities is available.  The ACCESS Graduate Assistant meets regularly with students with disabilities to help them grow in all areas towards academic excellence with the goal of thriving in and out of the classroom during their time at Geneva College.  These meetings are meant to help in the following areas:

  • Time management
  • Study skills
  • Note taking
  • Learning styles
  • Test taking strategies
  • Disability issues
  • Special learning needs

 

Point of Excellence

The Department of Business offers a sport management major designed to prepare students for positions in administration, leadership, coaching and event management.
