Organizational Development
The organizational development major prepares today’s college graduates to respond effectively to rapid changes – changes in any organization, large or small. The major recognizes a variety of perspectives on organizational structures and the forces that drive and control change within organizations. Geneva College’s Reformed heritage and a focus on ethics and worldview guide content and critique within this major. The major helps students become self-aware, higher-order thinkers who can analyze complex human systems, lead others effectively and anticipate and facilitate rapid change.

Students must complete a social science course (three credits) in addition to three credits of social science in the core requirements. The additional social science course can be an introductory level survey course or an upper level course. Students must also complete Accounting Principles (three credits), a course that focuses on corporate budgets, finance and economics. The organizational development major requires 126 credits for graduation.
