Head coach Alan Sumner is set to begin his 25th season at the helm of the Geneva College baseball program. The Golden Tornadoes will be competing in their second season as full- fledged members of NCAA Division III and the Presidents’ Athletic Conference.
Geneva will have to find a way to fill the void left by seven graduating seniors following the 2012 campaign, but the cupboard is far from empty. The Golden Tornadoes will feature several returning letter winners while adding an influx of talented newcomers to the mix.
The Golden Tornadoes will look to improve upon their 15-21 overall record in 2012 while looking to compete for their first PAC title.
