Church Matching Scholarship

A growing number of churches are looking for ways to help meet the financial needs of their students. They also recognize the value of a Christian higher education. Through the Church Matching Scholarship Program, your church can assist a member of your congregation earn a Christ-centered education at Geneva College.
Geneva College is excited to announce that over 60 churches participated in 2009, the inaugural year of Geneva College's Church Matching Scholarship Program. This program, sponsored by the college, works to help students afford their education by matching any approved church's scholarship up to $500. Approximately 80 different students have benefited from this opportunity.
- Geneva College will match your church’s scholarship dollar for dollar up to a maximum of $500 per student per academic year.
- This program may be used in addition to other scholarships as long as tuition is not exceeded.
- Applicable scholarships must be direct gifts from the church, not a Geneva College endowment.
- Employees and dependents of Geneva College are not eligible.
- The church must submit the form to Geneva College.
- This program may be used in conjunction with other scholarships.
- The program applies to full-time, traditional undergraduate students only.
To participate in the Church Matching Scholarship Program, please complete this online form and return it to Geneva College before the semester begins.
If you provide scholarships to multiple students at Geneva College, duplicate this form and submit one form per student.
The scholarship check must be received before the semester begins in order to qualify for matching funds.
Mail checks directly to the Geneva College Financial Aid Office so we
can apply the matching funds to the student’s account.
