Creation Stewardship Club

The creation Stewardship Club is a group of Geneva College students dedicated to the care of God’s creation. We recognize that the earth belongs to God and that humans have been given the privilege and responsibility of caring for it in a way that honors and glorifies God.

The primary purpose of the Creation Stewardship Club is to promote stewardship of the creation on Geneva's campus and in the surrounding community.  We aim to increase awareness about the responsibility that Christians have to care for our Lord's creation, to educate about how we can be good stewards, and to encourage activities and habits that protect and restore creation.

Among other things, the club has been involved in…

  • Hosting collection events for recyclable materials such as electronics
  • Raising awareness about the benefits of recycling and conserving energy
  • Sponsoring recycling and energy conservation campaigns and competitions to encourage stewardship on campus
  • Organizing campus clean-up events to keep our campus and athletic facilities free of litter
  • Serving the Beaver Falls community by maintaining and beautifying the Beaver River Bike Trail

For more information about the club or to sign up for access to our Blackboard site and updates about club activities, contact the club’s faculty advisor, Marjory Tobias at mctobias@geneva.edu.
