Emergency Closure

Severe weather, damaged infrastructures or other unanticipated conditions may occur which may require the campus to be closed for student, faculty and staff safety. If an emergency closure becomes necessary:

  • Faculty, staff and students will be alerted by e-mail, telephone, text message or runner if an emergency closure becomes necessary. Local radio and television media will also announce updates.
  • Scheduled activities may be canceled during a campus closure.
  • Call the weather emergency hotline at 724-847-5000 or check the Geneva web site homepage www.geneva.edu for information.
