  • For those actively seeing employment in the past three years, there is a 100% placement rate for graduates of the accounting program.
  • Geneva offers innovative business/aviation and Christian ministry/aviation majors through a partnership with the Community College of Beaver County.
  • Among the most recent graduates of the chemistry, mathematics and physics education programs, 100% passed the Praxis subject examination, with an overall average that was 20% higher than the required Pennsylvania score.

Affordable Colleges
  • Geneva College ranks in the top 45 out of 402 colleges in Pennsylvania analyzed for return on investment by AffordableCollegesOnline.org, a prevalent resource for college affordability and financial aid information.

  • Geneva graduates have an 80% acceptance rate when applying for entrance to medical school–well above the national average.
  • Psychology students present work at regional conferences annually.
  • Geneva is the first college in the country to offer a five-year B.S. /M.S. degree in cardiovascular science technology through INOVA Heart and Vascular Institute in Virginia.

Best Christian Colleges

  • The business and athletic departments jointly offer a sport management major designed to prepare students for positions in administration, leadership, coaching and event management.
  • Geneva graduates pass the test for teacher certification in elementary education (Praxis II) at over a 99% rate in the first attempt–one of the highest pass rates in Pennsylvania.
  • Geneva is ranked sixth in the top 25 most beautiful Christian colleges in the country by Christian Universities Online.

  • Designated as a Pennsylvania College of Distinction, Geneva is recognized as one of the best places in the state for students to learn, to grow, and to succeed.

  • Geneva College is one of only 15 CCCU schools in the nation that offers an ABET-accredited, four-year engineering program.
  • Geneva prepares students for a wide range of environmental careers through a B.S. degree in environmental science and a concentration in environmental engineering.
  • Geneva offers Adult Degree Programs with majors in Organizational Leadership, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Human Services and Christian Ministry Leadership.

  • As a College of Distinction, Geneva is nationally recognized for providing outstanding preparation that is highly valued by graduate schools and employers.

Geneva College

  • Professor of History Dr. Eric Miller received Christianity Today’s 2011 Book Award for History/Biography in honor of his work, Hope in a Scattering Time: A Life of Christopher Lasch (Eerdmans).
  • The pass rate for Geneva graduates in the special education certification (Praxis II) is 100%.
  • Music business students have the opportunity to participate in the Contemporary Music Center Program in Nashville, Tennessee.

ABET Accredited
  • Geneva’s general engineering program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org.

  • Geneva engineering students compete in national competitions including the Solar Splash, Steel Bridge Building and the Society of Automotive Engineers Baja Competition.
  • A great majority of Geneva students—70%—complete internships during the course of their study.
  • Average class size is 17 students.

  • Music education and music business graduates have a 90-100% job placement in the first year.
  • Among a recent sampling of chemistry graduates, 83% were able to work in an internship or research experience during college years, and 100% had employment in their field or were accepted into graduate school within three months of graduation.
  • Professor of Political Science and expert in intelligence studies Dr. Thomas Copeland published a book based on his evaluation of United States counterterrorism policy, Fool Me Twice: Intelligence Failure and Mass Casualty Terrorism (Marinus/Nijhoff).
PRSSA

  • For over 50 years, Geneva’s chemistry department has been approved by the American Chemical Society (ACS)—a distinction achieved by only six other colleges in the CCCU.

ACS

  • Graduates of the Masters in Education in Reading have a 100% pass rate on the Reading Specialist Praxis Exam.
  • Professor of Philosophy Dr. Esther Meek published a unique vision of a covenant epistemology in her book, Loving to Know (Wipf & Stock).

CAAHEP
  • The cardiovascular science program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).

  • Philosophy graduates from Geneva have earned Ph.D.s at universities such as the University of Chicago, Purdue, Marquette, Pitt, St. Andrews in Scotland and others. Two are attending U.S. News & World Report Top-50 law schools.
  • Geneva College is the only CCCU institution with a full-time program in Rome, Italy. In Rome, students spend a semester studying the humanities, traveling throughout Italy and Europe, and engaging in volunteer activities.
  • Geneva offers a semester-long program at the Los Angeles Film Studies Center which combines seminar courses and internships in various segments of the film industry.

  • The Master of Arts in Counseling programs are accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Programs (CACREP).

  • Music graduates have a 100% placement rate when applying to graduate school programs.
  • Geneva College has a larger percentage of senior faculty than most U.S. colleges, with 45% being full professors compared to the national average of 25%, and 36% being associate professors, compared to national averages of 21%.

Member CCCU
  • Geneva is one of only 118 colleges in North America to qualify for membership in the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU), and is a founding member.

  • Geneva’s Adult Degree Programs offers three fully online majors—Organizational Leadership, Human Resources and Christian Ministry Leadership.
  • Of Geneva's 96 full-time faculty members, 76% have earned doctorates.
  • The Department of Engineering has had 100% job placement for graduates in the past 10 years.

  • Geneva College hosts a chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, an international English honors society open to English and Writing majors of high academic standing.

Sigma Tau Delta

  • Student-to-faculty ratio is 13:1.
  • Geneva awards bachelor's degrees in nearly 40 undergraduate major areas of study and offers seven master’s degree programs.

Phi Alpha Theta
  • Geneva College hosts a chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, a national honor society for history students, professors and alumni.

  • Psychology students experience the field beyond the classroom both in practical experiences and in advocacy with the government.
  • The first biopsychology major graduated in 2012 and has been hired as an IOM Tech in UPMC’s Center for Clinical Neurophysiology (CCN).
  • Geneva has an agreement with the Art institute of Pittsburgh, offering students programs in culinary management, interior design, photography, advertising and more.

  • Since 1923, Geneva College has been accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

MSA Accredited 

  • Philosophy professors Dr. Robert Frazier and Dr. Esther Meek have both received the Excellence in Scholarship Award, which is determined by Geneva faculty.
  • Through the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Pittsburgh, Geneva offers the 3&3 Program enabling students to complete a B.S. and a M.Div. in only six years.
ECFA Member
  • Geneva has earned the approval of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability for its fundraising and financial practices.
