Geneva College is an NCAA DIII soccer program participating in the PAC conference of the Mid-Atlantic Region. Geneva also competes as a Division I member in the NCCAA in the East region. Geneva has both a very rich academic and athletic history, with the men’s soccer program boasting 12 playoff appearances in 14 years, 5 national tournament appearances and an NCCAA National Championship.
The mission of Geneva Men’s Soccer is to be a perennial powerhouse in the conference, in the NCAA Division III, and in the NCCAA while cultivating Christian leadership and excellence through our four core values of passion, character, discipline and brotherhood. Exemplifying Christian principles on the field, in the classroom, and in everyday life is central to the mission of the program. We recognize the talents and abilities God has given to each member of the team, and dedicate ourselves to use them for God’s glory. We set to accomplish this by creating an environment where our players build each other up, hold each other accountable, and work as a team of “brothers” who respect each other, love each other, support each other, and challenge each other to become the best they can be for Christ’s Kingdom.
The Geneva men’s soccer program is committed to competing well against NCAA DIII, DII, NAIA and teams overseas in order to raise our standard of play. Our athletes train both in and out of season through team training sessions, individual technical development, team tactical awareness sessions, weight lifting and strength training, speed and agility exercises, and fitness development workouts in order to compete at the highest level. They take seriously their commitment to academics and their responsibility as a student-athlete.
