Password Reset Information

PASSWORD WILL NOT BE RESET OVER THE PHONE OR VIA EMAIL. You are required to complete the Request for Password Reset form which will be located outside of SE 121. Complete the form and deposit it in the box inside SE 121. Within three (3) working days, your requested password(s) will be reset to Studentxxxx, where the xxxx represents the last four digits of your social security number. Be sure to use an uppercase “S” in your new password. There will be no formal notification when the password has been reset.

Lab/Library/Intranet/Web Registration/Email/Blackboard Password

To complete the password resetting process, you must go to a lab computer or on the internet to https://spwreset.geneva.edu to change your password. Once you have changed your password you may use it to access the intranet, email and web registration. Lab computers are located in SE 122, SE 343, NW 212, and the library.

The rules for creating a password are as follows:

  • The password must contain 3 out of 4 of the following:
    • Upper case letters
    • Lower case letters
    • Integers (numbers)
    • Punctuation
  • Password must be 8 or more characters
  • Must not be the same as any of your previous passwords
  • Cannot be the same as or similar to your username
  • A password cannot be changed more than once in a 24 hour period.

Remember:

Passwords expire in 120 days from the last password reset.  

Wire/Wireless Password

You will use your newly reset wire/wireless password to access your account.

Point of Excellence

Geneva College is the only CCCU institution with a full-time program in Rome, Italy. In Rome, students spend a semester studying the humanities, traveling throughout Italy and Europe, and engaging in volunteer activities.
