Pastors & Churches

“Geneva is a college, not a church; our purpose is complementary rather than identical to that of the church. But Geneva is a community of believers who live and work together, and are therefore reflective of the body of Christ.” (President Smith, Inaugural Address, October, 2004)

As members of the body of Christ, we pursue partnership with churches. We encourage students to become actively involved with a local church, serving in a variety of capacities. Pastors and churches are invited to join us for the weekly chapel program, special speakers and other events on campus. Local churches provide mentoring programs, special events, accountability groups and so much more to our community. And Geneva has proved to be a resource for pastors and churches – whether it’s hosting a conference, supplying a pulpit or sending a music-ministry group to perform.

Pastors and churches can be supportive of students pursuing the Christ-centered education that Geneva College provides through the church matching program. The Church Matching Scholarship Program will match your church’s scholarship dollar for dollar up to a maximum of $500 per student per academic year. Click here for more information.
