Geneva’s Track and Field program uses Colossians 3:17 as a foundational verse: "…whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." We recognize that God has given us the gifts to run and compete at a high level. Therefore, we seek to honor Him by training hard and racing harder. In addition to becoming better athletes, we strive for excellence in the classroom by taking our roles as "student-athletes" very seriously. Furthermore, we grow together spiritually through team prayer, devotions and weekly Bible studies.
