* Rome * Florence * Venice *
Delve deeply into the roots of the Western tradition by spending a semester living and studying in Rome, one of Europe’s most exciting and historic cities. The “Eternal City” has much to offer students exploring the foundations of Christianity, the arts, history, literature and philosophy. This unique, integrated humanities experience employs Rome — and much of Italy — as its classroom while students explore some of the world’s finest churches, art galleries, historic sites and museums. The Semester in Rome is distinctive because it intentionally integrates faith and learning. It is also the only semester-long program in Rome offered by a member institution of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU). Its limited size of 22 students each semester means that every student receives individualized attention from our faculty and staff. In addition to the academic curriculum, students have opportunities to give back to the community through volunteer opportunities with Agape Italia (a division of Campus Crusade for Christ), teaching English as a second language, working with refugees, and helping Rome’s homeless. Take the time to browse our web pages to learn more about this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
