Disability Services

The ACCESS Office serves as the liaison for students with disabilities. Students with a diagnosed disability who have met the college's academic standards and have confirmed their intention to enroll, may request accommodations.

Some of the more frequently approved accommodations currently being used by our students include:

  • Audio taping of lectures
  • Note taking support
  • Use of word processing on computers with spell-check capability
  • Individual peer-tutors
  • Increased time for test-taking
  • Quiet environment for test-taking

We encourage you to contact ACCESS in the early stages of your college planning to familiarize yourself with our services. If you′re planning a campus visit, please inform your admissions counselor or contact our office to schedule an appointment. Should you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us.
