Counseling Services

Promoting wholeness and well-being

The purpose of Counseling Services is to provide quality behavioral health services to the students of Geneva College. These services are intended to improve or sustain an individual's level of functioning in order to prevent the need for more intensive treatments.

Services include assessment, crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, referral and advocacy, and training and consultation with staff and faculty. Counseling services are free for enrolled students. Services are confidential. Some common issues include anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stress management, relationships, family, trauma, addictions, and eating disorders to name a few.
