How did you decide on Geneva?

I was looking for a Christian school with a strong Reformed faith emphasis, as well as academic excellence. Further, my mother, along with many others from my church and school communities, graduated from Geneva and highly recommended it. After visiting several other colleges, I realized that Geneva was the best match for me.

Where are you from?

Irwin, PA

How has Geneva impacted your faith?

Attending Geneva College has deepened my faith and helped me to understand the importance of integrating my faith into all areas of life. Seeing Geneva's faculty and staff model their own faith both in and out of the classroom has been a source of encouragement and inspiration.

What are your hobbies/interests?

I enjoy playing the piano, traveling, ultimate Frisbee, and creative projects such as drawing and scrapbooking.

What is your major?

I am a business major with a concentration in management and entrepreneurship as well as a minor in psychology.

What is your favorite part of your program at Geneva (or Geneva in general)?

My favorite thing about Geneva is the relationship between professors and students. It is not uncommon for professors to come into the dining hall and just sit down with a group of their students and share a meal with them. Professors know students by name, and, in my experience, genuinely care about their personal lives as well as their academic lives.

What groups/clubs are you involved with on campus?

I am a member of the business club, honors council and Big Brothers Big Sisters, as well as a student ambassador for the admissions office.

What are you looking to do after earning your degree?

I'm currently looking into working for non-profit organizations, including colleges, in an office administration capacity.
