Geneva College announces Lindsay Courteau as the vice president of strategic partnerships and government relations. Courteau has served as the College’s associate vice president of strategic partnerships and community engagement since February 2024. Previously, she served as Geneva’s director of marketing and public relations. 

The inaugural role facilitates Geneva-wide partnership strategies and government relations initiatives while seshrving on both the President’s Cabinet and the Leadership Team. As part of this role, Courteau will serve as a catalyst for cultivating executive-level relationships with prospective marketplace, corporate, municipal, state, and federal partners. Through these partnerships Geneva will have the opportunity to expand academic programming and advance the mission and footprint of the College. 

“Lindsay Courteau has continued to strengthen Geneva College’s relationships throughout the region, reflecting our commitment to being a faithful and engaged member of the community,” says President Calvin Troup, PhD. “In this new role, Lindsay will build from that foundation to help the College continue to collaborate meaningfully across sectors.” 

Courteau brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this position as she has a long history doing this work throughout the county and Pittsburgh area. In her previous roles for the College, Courteau served as the institutional lead on the development of strategic partnerships and engagement in the larger community, representing the College and the Office of the President at many events publicly on the local and regional level.  

Additionally, Courteau serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Beaver County Chamber of Commerce and is secretary of the Board for the Beaver County Cancer and Heart Association. Courteau is involved in volunteering with many other local government and nonprofit organizations.
