About Geneva Portage Learning

Portage Learning

Geneva partners with Portage Learning to offer online college courses on the PortageLearning.edu platform. These online college courses are offered to visiting students seeking to transfer courses to their home institution where they intend to pursue a degree.

Courses completed at Portage Learning prior to matriculation may be used by Geneva students to fulfill degree requirements. Following matriculation, courses on the PortageLearning.edu platform must be completed through enrollment with Geneva College to fulfill degree requirements and are generally limited to summer offerings. Every exception must be approved by the provost. Courses completed through enrollment at Portage Learning will not be applied to degree requirements. The online courses are intentionally distinct from classroom courses as indicated by both the four-letter course designations and their numbering (i.e., 100-level represents intro and intermediate level courses, 200 & 300-level for advanced/upper level and 500-level for grad courses).

Geneva Portage Learning Transcripts

Upon successful completion of coursework, students may request an official transcript. Requests must be made through the PortageLearning.edu portal for processing.
