Old Main Hall

When Geneva College moved from Northwood, OH to Beaver Falls, PA, Old Main was the first major building that the college built. Old main houses the Registrar, President and Provost offices, as well as the Departments of Bible, Ministry & Philosophy and Higher Education.

Old Main is also home to several classrooms, and a beautiful two-story lecture hall and performance space called John White Chapel—or JWC for short. JWC holds everything from humanities lectures to concerts from The Genevans Choir and the Jazz Band.

Alexander Hall

Alexander Hall is home to the main dining facility on campus, as well as the Admissions and Institutional Advancement Offices. Alexander Dining Hall was renovated in the summer of 2014, and includes a wide variety of food offerings, including:

  • Soup and Pasta Stations
  • Rotisserie Station
  • Salad Bar
  • Subs, Sandwiches and Panini Station
  • Gluten Free and dietary restriction accommodations
  • Pizza Buffet
  • Dessert and Ice Cream Bar
  • Made-to-Order Ramen Bowl Station

Northwood Hall

Named for Northwood, OH, Geneva’s founding location, Northwood Hall is a three-floor academic building that houses the Tannehill Department of Business, Accounting and Sport Management, and the Psychology and Criminal Justice Departments.

Clarke Residence Hall

Clarke Hall is a three-floor female residence hall. Clarke is located just one block from Alexander Dining Hall and next door to the sand volleyball court. Each room houses two students and each floor is equipped with two common bathrooms. Wireless internet access is available throughout the building, and Clarke has a fully-equipped kitchen per floor as well as two lounges.

McCartney Library

McCartney Library serves the Geneva College community by providing information and research assistance to students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends.

Its resources and collections include over 400,000 items, plus a growing array of electronic databases and books accessible 24/7 online. More materials are available from a worldwide network of libraries. Librarians provide research help to navigate these sources by individual guidance and group instruction.

The collegiate gothic building features two stained-glass windows inspired by the preaching of Dr. Clarence Edward Macartney. Group and individual study areas are equipped with wired and wireless Internet connections. The Library is where students, faculty and scholars can encounter and discuss great ideas of the past and present as they seek wisdom in becoming servant-leaders for Christ′s kingdom.

McKee Hall

McKee Hall is a three-floor female residence hall. Located in the center of campus, McKee residents are close to McCartney Library, Alexander Dining Hall and the Student Center. The hall features suite-style rooms, with two residence hall rooms connected by a shared bathroom. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the building. McKee also features a main lounge, a study room on the first floor, a prayer nook on the third floor and a common kitchen on each floor. McKee features:

Pearce Residence Hall

Pearce Hall is a four-floor male residence hall. Located on the north end of campus, Pearce Hall is right next door to Geneva′s tennis courts. Each room houses two students and there is one common bathroom per floor. Wireless internet access is available throughout the building. The main lounge with recreational equipment is available on the ground floor. Pearce features:

Metheny Fieldhouse

The fieldhouse is where volleyball, basketball and indoor track & field teams practice and compete. It also houses our coaches’ offices, a second gym, a racquetball court, training facilities and locker rooms. It also hosts Chapel on Wednesday mornings. Recent lobby renovations were made possible by Dan Frasier, a former Geneva standout athlete and coach. Bleacher seating can host a crowd of 2,500.

Reeves Field

Built in 1925, Reeves Field has been transformed into one of the finest facilities in the region. Most recently, Reeves has gone through a face lift that includes a new synthetic playing surface along with improved features off the field. A new entranceway, concession stands, bleachers, restrooms and press box highlight the renovations. The stadium and turf of Reeves Field are used for football, soccer, club rugby, intramurals and physical education classes. Reeves Stadium can seat a crowd of 6,000 fans, and Golden Tornadoes football games are ranked in the top ten of NCAA Division III football programs for gameday attendance.

Bill and Rita Conrady Softball Field

Bill and Rita Conrady Softball Field is located in the Merriman Athletic Complex. Tucked into the space formerly used for football practice, the softball team returned to campus beginning with the 2008 season. A new infield, including backstop and fencing, has enhanced the entire look of the facility and provide an enjoyable experience for spectators. Quality constructed dugouts along with other enhancements give the softball complex its unique character and playability. In late 2016, the softball field was upgraded with a permanent fence and digitalized windscreen.

Merriman Athletic Complex

Geneva College's Merriman Athletic Complex consists of a multi-purpose track and field area as well as soccer field. Merriman Athletic Complex bleachers hold a capacity of close to 1500. With an eight-lane track surrounding the soccer playing field, Merriman Complex has the capability of hosting a multi-event track meet, while also remaining a quality soccer facility that includes lights for night contests. The complex also features a fully enclosed press box with wireless internet that enables complete coverage for sporting events, including the operation of its soccer scoreboard on the south end of the facility.

Geneva Student Center

The Student Center is a hub of student interaction, containing spaces for students to study, eat, hang out, work out and more! The student center includes:

  • The Brigadoon, AKA the “Brig”: An alternative dining facility to the cafeteria, which is open later and offers a variety of convenient food options. The Brig also contains the Riverview Café, which proudly brews Starbucks Coffee. Students often use the Brig as a study area, or just a place to hang out.
  • The Campus Bookstore.
  • Mail and Print Services.
  • Skye Lounge: A useful study area on campus, especially for group study projects. This area is often transformed for campus events and speakers. Balconies off Skye Lounge and the Brig feature a beautiful overlook the Beaver River and the valley.
  • The Center for Calling and Career: This office works with all students from their first year through graduation, helping them to discover and develop their calling and vocation. Services offered here include career coaching, internship and job search assistance, help with resume writing, business etiquette and interview skills, and help with grad school admission.
  • Residence Life, the Center for Student Engagement, Campus Ministry, Dean of Students, Off-Campus Study, and International Student Services offices.
  • The Student Success Center: Academic support, tutoring, accommodations for students with disabilities, and other workshops and seminars are available through this department.
  • The Fitness Center: Featuring many cardio machines and a large aerobic area for flexibility training and aerobic workouts. The weight rooms offer several options from free weights to state-of-the-art resistance equipment. The Fitness Center is open and available for all students, faculty, and staff with a college I.D. card.

Science and Engineering Building

The Science & Engineering Building (S&E) houses approximately 20 lab spaces for students interested in the sciences. In addition, S&D is home to Information Technology Services and multiple classroom and computer labs. The first and ground floors of S&E are dedicated to our engineering facilities. There are 5 engineering labs dedicated to:

  • Microprocessing
  • Electronics
  • Geotechnical
  • Environmental
  • Thermofluids and materials

The second floor, dedicated to chemistry and physics, houses laboratory spaces for:

  • Organic chemistry
  • Physical chemistry
  • Research
  • Inorganic chemistry

The third floor is dedicated to biology, computer science and mathematics, and houses labs for:

Golden Tornadoes Baseball Field

The Geneva baseball team has called 33rd Street Field home for almost three decades. After going through significant upgrades in the late 1980's, this off campus facility is considered one of the nicest baseball facilities in the region. Most recently, a new infield playing surface and added windscreens have further enhanced its appearance and playability.

A completely enclosed facility that can seat up to 250 fans inside the gate, along with several other seating options along the road, 33rd Street Field is a great venue to take in a ball game. The address is Beaver Falls Ballpark #2, Beaver Falls, PA 15010. Visit Geneva Baseball Website
