This commencement page provides everything you need to participate and celebrate—event schedules, regalia, arrival instructions, livestream, and more. Please note that this year we will hold one combined ceremony for all graduates—undergraduate, graduate, and adult degree students—so our whole Geneva community can rejoice together.

Metheny Fieldhouse

  • All graduates and their guests are welcome to participate in this worship service.
  • Graduates should gather by 6:30 p.m. in Merriman Gym in Metheny Fieldhouse wearing their regalia.
  • Baccalaureate will be livestreamed. 
  • Submit a special accommodations request if accessibility requirements are needed.

Daniel Howe is the founding pastor of Christ Reformed Presbyterian Church in Riverside, Rhode Island and author of Worship, Feasting, Rest, Mercy: The Christian Sabbath (Grassmarket Press, 2023).

Commencement (All Graduates)

Reeves Stadium

  • Ceremony includes Undergraduate, Adult Degree, and Masters graduates
  • Gates to the stadium will open at 8 am.
  • In case of rain, commencement will be moved indoors to Metheny Fieldhouse where each grad may bring up to 8 guests.
  • Graduates should gather in Old Main John White Chapel at 8:45 a.m. for instructions wearing their regalia.
  • Class officer and honors pictures will be taken at 8 a.m. in Skye Lounge.
  • Undergraduate commencement will be livestreamed.
  • Submit a special accommodations request if accessibility requirements are needed.

Commencement Receptions

Light refreshments will be served in tents on campus immediately following the ceremony.  See the commencement program for locations.

Speaker: Rev. Joel E. Kim

Rev. Kim has taught New Testament at Westminster Seminary California since 2005 and in 2017 was appointed as the fourth president of WSC. He has served the global church through agencies such as the Southeast Asia Partnership, and, among other notable leadership positions, he chairs the Candidates and Credentials Committee of the Korean Southwest Presbytery of the PCA. Spring semester 2026 is full of fun events for graduating seniors.  Many require registration and have deadlines. 

Senior Launch (Undergraduate)

Saturday, January 17, 2026 | 9-4 p.m.

Location: Benedum Room

Senior Launch is a one-day event that prepares seniors for the transition into life after college. We'll be covering topics such as:

  • Navigating transition
  • What to know about entering professional and graduate school life
  • Building and maintaining relationships
  • Understanding bills and budgeting
  • All seniors graduating in May or December are welcome!

Undergraduate Cap and Gown Information

The regalia package includes a gown, cap and tassel for $44. Graduates planning to pick up their regalia at Grad Finale on April 2nd must place their order NO LATER THAN FEBRUARY 20, 2025.

Graduates may also order their regalia and have it shipped directly to them. THE DEADLINE FOR SHIPPING REGALIA IS MARCH 27, 2025.

Adult/Graduate Cap and Gown Information

The regalia package for the Adult graduates includes a gown, cap and tassel for $44. The regalia package for the Masters graduates includes a gown, cap, tassel and hood for $87.

All Adult and Masters graduates should order their regalia and have it shipped to them. The deadline for ordering is March 27, 2025.
